Reasons for items include:

-Comfort

-Metal taste in mouth from chemo

-Lack of taste in general

-Dry skin

-Dry mouth

-Nausea

-Organization of appointments

-Entertainment

Now that I have raised enough money to really dive into the creation of these chemotherapy baskets, I have been buying items like crazy! Below is a list of the items that will be included in the baskets so far. Each item is included for a specific reason either to make the hours pass quicker or to help with medical needs. One of the things I have been struggling to figure out is an item to include just for a little "treat." Cancer patients are normal people that enjoy a nice gift; their lives aren't completely revolving around their disease. Each story is different, so some people might have need different items during their battle than I have listed. Please feel free to send me a message with any suggestions on items that I can include in the baskets. It can be something to help with their medical needs or just something nice to give them to brighten their day a bit! I am completely open to suggestions! Refer to the "Donate" page to contact me.
